Nocturne for Dani ("Falling Fifths") was written for the memorial concert celebrating the life of Danielle Martin, pianist & teacher, who was murdered in her hoe by a mentally ill student in April 2004. The story behind my Nocturne is one of nostalgia & heartbreak. Gregory Allen, a lifelong friend of Dani was talking about their early friendship.
