The focus of this program is formed by works by the prominent composers Marcin Mielczewski, Mikolaj Zielenski, and Adam Jarzebski: names nobody knows today. With selected compositions in honor of the Virgin Mary – even then Poland was known for its great popular piety – the WESER-RENAISSANCE ensemble brings back to life the magnificent sound and multifacetedness of this great epoch.
