"This disk with the BBC Philharmonic is not to be missed for lovers of Respighi's magical orchestrations. La Boutique Fantasque is the real prize, recorded with stunning clarity. The other fragments and Bach Prelude and Fugue only confirm the impression that the stars aligned exactly for this collection. I've never heard a better Chandos recording, matched by Noseda's obvious sympathy for this music."
