Supplied with both Horn in F and Tenor Horn in E-flat parts, this is a fine recital piece. After two bars of harp-like accompaniment the horn enters with a beautiful melody that rises and falls throughout its course, supported by some really gorgeous harmony changes. Lullaby was a Trinity College London grade 6 exam piece for Horn in F between 1998 and 2004. The work has been a London College of Music exam piece for Horn in F since 1994, and an Australian Music Examinations Board exam piece since 2003.
