Pour Florian was commissioned by the Maison des Pratiques Artistiques Amateurs for the Ensemble Itinéraire's Cello workshop (coordination: L. Peralta). It was first performed on 2 April 2010 by M. Hetzel, a student of F. Lauridon's to whom the piece is dedicated.
