This beloved aria heard so often at weddings and other special events has been associated with J.S. Bach due to its inclusion in Bach's Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach; however, it was composed by German composer Stolzel for an opera and has been carefully arranged here for string ensemble in a version that is perfect for teaching legato, expressive style.
