The commissioning of Amnesia Redux was made possible with funds from the Helen F. Whitaker Fund & the Chamber Music America Endowment Fund. The piece was written for & is dedicated to Triple Helix. Amnesia Redux was written in Boston during the spring of 2002. The piece begins with two declamatory statements, first by the cello, & then, in an altered version, by the violin, with accompanying commentary from the cello & piano.
