Written for players of intermediate grade, an ideal contemporary music 'workshop piece' for Key-Stage 3 music or similar educational functions, Boaz is scored for any conceivable line-up of pitched and un-pitched instruments. Improvising,embellishment, repetition, the conductor or ensemble-leader determines the length and scoring of individual sections.
