Seven pieces from Israel, originally Songs and Dances, with authentic Hebrew titles. The word "Klezmer" is derived from Hebrew, and loosely translated means musical instrument. An eastern European tradition, Klezmirim (Jewish folk musicians) traveled from town to town to entertain at weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, and other occasions.

The music is in four basic parts with the "melody line" not always restricted to the top part. The score includes chord symbols on the three melody lines so that accordion and keyboard players can play along.

Part 1 - fl/vln,cl/ss/tr
Part 2 - fl/ob/vln,cl/tr,as
Part 3 - cl/ts/tr/tb(tc),as/he,vln,vla,hf,bn/tb(bc)
Part 4 - bn/vcl/tb(bc)/tba,ts/bc/tb(tc)/bb,bs/eh/eb
