Written in 1999 at the invitation of Eugene Symphony Orchestraconductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya for his innovative program Tango Lesson,which also featured tangos by Piazzolla, Gardel and Stravinsky, this pieceblends tango style with elements of klezmer music.
