In the hills of northwestern Georgia Norman Blake carries on the tradition of old-time country music like a master craftsman preserving an endangered art form. He discovered his life's vocation when he was sixteen. Born in 1938 in Chattanooga he wa s raised in Sulphur Springs Georgia near Lookout Mountain. He met Nancy Short in 1972 when the band she was playing in was b ooked as his opening act. They married 2 years later.This DVD presents their unique musical blend from 1980 to 1995.
