This release is a WORLD PREMIERE RECORDING and the first performance of the opera for 150 years. Its rediscovery is an important acquisition for nineteenth century opera; the work of a composer of unquestioned European stature.

This CD marks the beginning of a collaboration between Dynamic, Teatro Real and ICCM which aims at rediscovering neglected Spanish musical masterpieces.
