Zusammenfassung

In her music theatre work TagNachtTraumstaub, Annette Schlünz explores the ever-old, ever-new labyrinth of love, a garden of ramifying paths: an analogy to human life, translated into image, sound and language. A fascinating world develops, situated between the real and the non-real, between being awake and dreaming. A man is dreaming; he is dreaming that he is dreaming; he is dreaming that he awakes from his dream, and the awaking also is still a dream. He sees himself in the dream; two women appear, and so he sees himself doubled, with two women, amidst shadows. So, on the way to find himself and never arriving, he gets lost in his dream. At the end, both women, who should be rivals, meet each other and say good-bye, dismissing danger with the greeting words: "Wish me luck!"
